The Fallen Angel part 9

You’re coming with me!

Laughter, he heard laughter. He opened his eyes and sat up with his hands supporting him, he looked around to see kids running around and playing, oh how much he wanted to shut them up. They’re laughing was like poison to his ears, he couldn’t stand it. He didn’t have to take it. He didn’t need to make himself suffer. But if he did what he wanted to do, then it would be so much harder to get what he wants. There was technology no one to stop him, but why not go the hard way? He loved getting it the hard way, it adds salt to the people he is against's wounds. He smiled, everything was already going to plan. He looked at the sleeping body that lay right next to him, this person is a ace in his pocket.

The sleeping being that was beside him finally opened his eyes.

“how long?” The person sat up and faced him, he glared.”how long was i asleep?” he continued.

The other male turned to him with a unimpressed expression. “shouldn’t you know?” he smiled at the younger one evilly.

The younger one seemed irritated but calm, “why did you steal me away?” he paused for a bit, searching the others face for anything that can give him a clue to something, anything. “it wasn’t time for me to wake up”. The older one nodded and looked to the playing children.

“i know”

“then why?”

“because i need you to get what I always wanted.”

“not everyone gets what they want.” The younger hedgehog says with a frown.

“well I’m going to prove that saying wrong when this is done.” The darker one said while looking back at his prisoner.

The younger one looked at the children that dotted the white field, then sighed unhappily. “why did you take me here? where you are in the open, with me. you do know they are probably looking for me, right?” The other snorted, shaking his head. He wasn’t that stupid right? Surely he would be smarter than that, considering he was able to take him away unnoticed. Until the guards come to do they’re regular check up on him, till then his absence is unknown.

“don’t think i didn’t think it threw.”

The park was empty at the moment, except a certain cat. Who was gently pushing the swing she was sitting from with her left foot, the right foot resting on the heel of her shoe. Her face was wet, but she was smiling. Wait, no, she was laughing softly. If you were passing by her you would have chills running down your spine, like she would straighten up from her slouching position to reveal her horrifying face and chase you to your death. Heh.

She can’t point her finger on it. This guy, this stupid, ignorant, stuck-up, awful, stubborn, mean guy. She frowned angrily. This mysteries, handsome, strong, emotional, brave man. She scoffed quietly, then shook her head a little with a bit of disdain. No, this can’t be happening. Not in this lifetime, not in any. She was not going to fall for a insensitive bastard like him.

“CAKECAKECAKECAKECAKECAKECAKECAKECAKECAKECAKECAKE!”

In the distant a group of animals watch helplessly as a yellow two tailed fox chasing after a scared young pink hedgehog who was holding a triple layered chocolate, strawberry, vanilla cake.

“NO, you can’t have it! You ate enough!” The pink female cried

“JUST ONE BITE!” tails said as he started to speed up with his tails

“ In one bite you’ll finish the whole thing!” amy turned left and right to maybe get more distant from the cake maniac

“ So not true!” tails shot back defensively

Amy didn’t reply as she past the group of friends that currently went back to chatting like nothing was happening.

“ are you serious guys you're not going to help me!”

“ nope.” was the short reply from knuckles

sonic’s ear twitched before he started opening his eyes, he was tired but that dream made him not want to go back. He was so scared that day, he looked up to see that not much seemed to happen other than the kid genius chasing after the pink hedgehog version of barbie. His good wing started to twitch a bit under the cloak, he needed to stretch out his wings but his bad one prevented his wish. He looked up at shadow with worried eyes.

Shadow turns his head and sees sonic looking up at him. “you finally awake i see” sonic only nodded while sitting up to be on the same height as shadow. “if you're really that tired then we can go back to the house if you’ll like?”

Sonic looked at the rest of the beings that were with them who were eating and chatting, sonic leaned towards shadow a bit to whisper in his ear “i need to stretch my wings” shadow’s face turned more into concentrated one. How the hell is he going to satisfy his needs to fly if he can’t fly at all? He sighed then turned to the others “we have to go, sonic is tired.” Shadow said flatly.

“Now! Oh come on shadow!” silver whined, blaze winced from silvers voice getting higher and glared at him. Silver didn’t noticed it because he got up a turned to sonic. “You can stay a bit longer, right?”

Sonic only shrunk down behind shadow. Who was he kidding, he doesn't have the heart to turn him down! Blaze saw this and confronted silver.

“Silver, if he is tired let him be. He doesn't need to feel guilty for leaving because of your immature complaining.” silver looked at blaze then muttered an apology towards sonic’s direction. Knuckles nodded then waved both hedgehogs good bye.

“alright see you later”

“yes” shadow turned but nodded

“okay, thank you for the food” sonic bowed to everyone they went to shadows side

After they started to walk away tails and amy came back with tails a bruise on his head and a hammer in one of amy’s hand, her other hand held a perfectly intact cake.

“where are they going?” amy huffed, “sonic was supposed to try my cake”

Rouge smiled then flew up and over sonic, she whispered something into his ear then smiled and patted his head, turned and went back to the group. Sonic felt a chill go down his spine, he didn’t like this at all. But what sonic didn’t know was when rouge patted his head, she placed a chip in his head fur. Rouge smirked to herself, this was exactly the reason for this little meet up. Now that her first part is done, she should report back to the commander and see what has to be done next. She turned to knuckles with a flirty smile.

“hey knucky, lets take a walk hmm?"

After Rouge mange to get knuckles away from the group, she dragged him to a path that was lined out with decorated trees and marking people carve in their trunks. She looked at all the heart shaped ones with names in them and forever under them. Some were crossed out violently, but would only make others who were passing by laugh or utter a ‘awww’ with sympathy on their faces but never the less a smile to go with it.

Knuckles grumbled under his breath while rouge lead them to a clearing in the end of the path. She pointed to a spot on the ground and sat next to it, knuckles sat in the intruded place the bat pointed to and asked her the question he was dying to ask her by now due to frustration.

“okay bat girl you took me hear now what do you want?” he asked ruthfully. Rouge scoffed at his bitterness to being alone with her, he should be great full he was standing next to her, that jerk! She crossed her arms huffed with a look of hurt.

“Don’t have to be so rude, I can’t have some quality time with my favorite echidna.” she ask, ditching her fake hurt face and smirked at knuckles.

knuckles cocked and his head to the side so she won’t see his face.

Scourge was flying about, looking for sonic was harder than he thought. Where can a winged blue high speed hedgehog be? To think he actually thought it would be easy a while ago, if he could he would go back in time and shot him in the face for being so naive.

He looked down to see a really broken up park, he fluttered down and landed gently. When his feet touched the ground, he looked around. He heard a squeaking, from his left, like rusted metal on metal. His eyes narrowed after seeing the girl that left him alone with her family for 2 hours. Scourge walked calmly behind Wendy and kicking her back. She yelped as her swing went up and was pushed off the swing by the unexpected kick, which lead her to falling on her butt. The swing came back and hit her on the back of her head, she heard the squeaking of the swing go back and fourth. She wiped her hand around to see a annoyed scourge with his arms crossed.

She scrambled to her feet and desperately trying to make up an excuse for her absence, but she stopped at once she heard a growl from the dark angel.

“you better have some good reason you left and left me alone with your god damn family”

Wendy struggled for a excuse, anything will do. Wait, she got something. “ I uh… well.. its a bit personal thing” she smiled weakly at scourge.

“well I don’t care, i want to know now” he demanded, his anger was getting the best of him and Wendy saw that.

“well i had to go to the store to….get something I rather not say.” she put her hands behind her back and inched away from the pissed off green hedgehog.

“well you better tell me what was so important that you had to leave without a word and be gone for a long while” scourge was getting even more enraged by the higher and deadlier his voice got and his face turned one that was about to kill.

“its women products… that I need.. at a certain time of a month” she said weakly while looking humiliated just for the sake of her show. Scourge’s face turned from pissed off to shock then looked away in embarrassment while scratching the back of his head with his right hand.

“oh… why did you take so long? And why are you here?” He looked back at her accusingly.

“because I thought you or my family wouldn’t want to deal with me while I was having one of my moments!” she put her hands up.

“oh…… are you calm now?”

“yes lets go.” she sighed and started to walk.

“you can go without me, Im gonna search some more.” scourge shrugged and waved her off while spreading his wings out, getting ready to take off again.

“then ill look down here, see if i'll find something?” she asked a bit to hopefully

“sure” he nodded and made his wings do a powerful flap to make him go shooting into the sky.

Wendy watched him go until he was out of view then began to walk in the direction she was facing, going anywhere sense she doesn't have a clue where to look first.

Mephiles didn’t really want to deal with this. He wanted to stack sonic and friends in a tree but it ended up falling over because a idiot with a axe decided he want to kill a tree, mephiles was standing in front of his hiding place fowler with an annoyed expression. Said person smiled sheepishly while rubbing the back of his head with his left hand and waving slowly to mephiles. Mephiles didn’t even notice the gang parting ways as he approached the short human.

After mephiles left a gory scene behind him did he take notice the reason he was in the tree is gone.

“thats it!!”

He tried playing nice under the radar but this getting him no where. He grew his wings out of his back, they were mostly out of crystal for feathers and with sharp bone poking out from his humerus of his wings to the metacarpus. He flapped his wings to the sky and rocketed himself to shadow’s house.

Sonic and Shadow finally made it to shadow’s home, Shadow went to the kitchen to make dinner while went to the coach sonic experienced the wonders of TV.

‘I wish we had TV’ sonic thought sadly, looking out the window with a bit of longing.

“hey, how do you feel about lasagna?” shadow’s voice came from the kitchen with the sound of clanking and bonging from the pots and pans. Sonic looked to the direction of the kitchen and said his approval with a bit of excitement.

Shadow had a half smile on his face, but he erased it when he noticed he was smiling. He went to the fridge and got the necessary items to make the lasagna and a cookbook that was thrown to a lone corner when it was gifted to him from a cream bunny few months ago. He never had the need to use it, not until now that is. He didn’t eat much being the ultimate lifeform, he usually went to rouge's bar to get something to eat when he did eat. Sonic was a different story and he was happy using the cookbook to make him happy.

Sonic changed the channels with big eyes of wonder, he was amazed of this. He seen people use it many time (not to mention tails’s inventions) but never got to experience it himself. If only his home would be more modern, then he wouldn’t really have that burning desire to go to the mortal world and explore it. But alas, this was prohibited in his world. Its a absolute law that you can’t go to the mortal world unless on business or a mission, in sonic’s case it was on accident but that won’t do him much good, that excuse was used to many times. The ‘it wasn’t my fault’ and the ‘I didn’t know’ and the most used ‘it was a accident, I didn’t mean to’. Its a bit pathetic if you think about it.

Sonic sighed, what are you going to do?

The door crashed down and mephiles came in from the broken door frame. His fur has turned from black with grey to a purplish Crystal, his completely red eyes trailed to the flabbergast hedgehog on the couch and grinned. He grabbed sonic’s arm and pull him to his feet.

“you’re coming with me!"

Shadow ran out the kitchen, came to a complete stop and went face to face with mephiles. Mephiles wings flared out to pull him and sonic out of the house, a hand grabbed his ankle and pulled him back to the ground. Mephiles looked at the perpetrator to his failed escape to see shadow grabbing onto him. Shadow dragged him a couple of inches and threw him to the opposite direction, grabbing sonic’s hand so he won’t go flying with mephiles.

Shadow pulled sonic behind him and faced where he threw mephiles, who was getting up. Shadow put his hands up and lowered himself to a fighting stance.

“If you want him, you will have to come threw me!”

Mephiles looked up and laughed evilly.

“That can be arranged!”

Both lunged.
